Old Testament: Share Its!

Reading in the Old Testament, Specifically Judges Chapter 2 there are verses which read: verse 22 "That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the Lord to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not." verse 23 "Therefore the Lord left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua."  I love here the word choice being "prove" which also means to Try or Test I think how in order for gods children to have a choice when need the good and the bad. Also we need both influences to really exercise our freedom of choice. If there wasnt some sort of influence coming from both sides it would be a bit hard to be "tested" or poved in how we live our life, deciding on living in a way that follows god or not follows god. In the book of Numbers you hear of many accounts where god punishes and kills people one example is in Exodus chapter 16 where there are 2 times where god kills people with fire and a plague, the first one is in verse 2 "two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly" "rose up before Moses" rose up meaning ingratitude. then god told Moses in verse 21 "separate yourselves from among the congregation that i may consume them" consume meaning kill. Verse 35 says "and there came a fire from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense"  The first time in Exodus chapter 16 god kills these men is because they "provoked the lord" and because they murmured against gods servants. The second time in the chapter god sends a plague to his people is when  the next day "all the congregation murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, ye have killed the people of the lord." Moses stemmed out at a time with the children of Israel was all in the land of Egypt, in Exodus chapter 1 Verse 6, 7 say: 6  And  a Joseph  died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. 7  ¶  And the children of Israel were  a fruitful , and  b increased  abundantly, and multiplied, and  c waxed  exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. We know that Moses came about after Jacobs son, Joseph and all his generation passed away. I think it is important to see how God leads peoples lives because in the following verses it mentions how Moses was not an Egyptian but was a Hebrew. In verse 6 Exodus chapter 2 it says "this is one of the Hebrews children".  I think it is interesting to take note how god lead another person away from the children of Israel to be raised by the Egyptians and how he didn't use a Egyptian to lead the children of Israel out of bondage at the time. I love the story of Joseph, Jacobs son who got sold into Egypt, in Genesis Chapter 37 verse 4 says:                 “And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him”  We Know that Jacob had many sons and Joseph was loved by his father the most out of all of them. Also, Joseph having twelve brothers it can only be imagined how much being hated could have affected him. Later in the same chapter he seems to have a wonderful relationship with god as he is given visions. I can see how good joseph heart was and how his father was pleased by him and god. So Joseph trying to being and good kid was hated the most out of his brothers. I think of how people with the purest hearts suffer the most suffering than any other and this seems to be the case for Joseph but I love this story and how the lord is looking out for Jos...

As  I  was reading in genesis,  I  read the verse Genesis chapter 4, verse 15 which says, " And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
