Joseph - the underdog

I love the story of Joseph, Jacobs son who got sold into Egypt, in Genesis Chapter 37 verse 4 says:

                “And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him”

 We Know that Jacob had many sons and Joseph was loved by his father the most out of all of them. Also, Joseph having twelve brothers it can only be imagined how much being hated could have affected him. Later in the same chapter he seems to have a wonderful relationship with god as he is given visions. I can see how good joseph heart was and how his father was pleased by him and god. So Joseph trying to being and good kid was hated the most out of his brothers. I think of how people with the purest hearts suffer the most suffering than any other and this seems to be the case for Joseph but I love this story and how the lord is looking out for Joseph. In Joseph's mind his whole family of brothers betrayed him and sold him away which I can imagine probably broke Josephs heart. Though Joseph felt the world was collapsing on him and how so much bad can happen to a good person im sure he kept trusting in god even through his suffering. And it to Joseph and his bad luck god allowed that bad to happen to him because it was going to be for his benefit we can see this in chapter 39 of Genesis verse 2 and 3:

“And the lord was with Joseph, and he was prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian”

“and his master saw that the lord was with him, and that the lord made all that he did prosper in his hand”

So eventually Joseph possibly feeling the lowest of everyone around him, and continuing to be in somewhat sticky situation like being a prisoner, as he got older  he continued to stay close with god and stay faithful, eventually with a lot of pain and struggle God finally honored him with being governor of Egypt. Joseph “underdog” was honored and fed millions, even his own brothers who thought of killing him.
